Function
Fuel flow meter DPT is designed for measuring diesel fuel consumption in the fuel line of vehicles and installations.
Applications
Fuel flow meter DPT is to be used together with fuel monitoring (FMS), AVL, GPS Tracking systems installed on the following vehicles:
- Trucks
- Tractive vehicles
- Tractors of various types
- Loaders
- Graders
- Road-building machinery
- Technological transport
- Fixed installations with diesel engines and so on
It is possible to use fuel flow meter DPT on the river and rail diesel transport.
Mounting
Fuel flow meter DPT is mounted into the fuel line of vehicles according to the approved installation schemes of DPT 5.2 / DPT 7.2. Fuel pipe and Installation kit cab be additionally included in the delivery set. Installation kit includes: angle pieces, calibrated bypass valve, check valve, connection clips, screws and so on.
Compatibility
Fuel flow meter DPT can operate as a part of on-board terminals which have discrete or pulse input 0-32V, for example with Off-line fuel monitor CKPT 31 Lite, on-line terminal CKPT 45, Teltonica, etc.
Principle of operation
Fuel flow meter DPT transforms fuel flow volume into a number of impulses (5 ml for DPT 5.2 and 7,5 ml for DPT 7.2).
